Everybody is called to be a saint man or woman.

We live here to be saint because our God is calling us to be saint. Becoming a saint woman or man is the task for all our life. Let's start from what Catechism of Catholic Church tells us about holiness. " 2012  We know that i n everything God works for good with those who love him… For those whom he fore knew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren and those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified. (Rom 8, 28-30)" I think that we can say the following (on the grounds of the above extract): everyone can be saint and everyone should be saint - with the help of God, of course. We should aspire to be holy, this holiness is possible. We cannot do anything without God's help and His graces. God wants us to be holy but we are all peccable, so we must ask God for His graces and His help on our way to ...

Spiritual life: some thoughts connected with this topic.

Spirituality and spiritual life - for some of us it is not important and for some it is the most important. For me this sphere of personal development is the most valuable, and I thank God that He shows me that this sphere of life is so important. Without spiritual things my life wouldn't be so joyful. I discovered spirituality in my own family, my parents taught me my first prayers, I attended Holy Masses with them from my childhood (I am a Catholic). I haven't had any doubts about the existence of God. In my view, God created people and gave them freedom. From the beginning of times some people use their freedom wisely, and some choose evil. We are all prone to do evil. But in Our Lord Jesus Christ we have the possibility to clean our souls - in the Catholic Church we have a sacrament of Penance that helps us a lot in our spiritual development.  Attending Holy Masses is a great event for me, I meet my God in His Holy Scripture and have an occasion to have Him in my h...

Why don't I work on Sundays? Because I trust my God.

Why don't I work on Sundays? Because I trust my God, because there are God's commandements and God gave them to us and He knows that we will be happy if we trust Him. God's commandements are not some kind of a burden. They are given for our happy life, life with God. Sunday is a time of celebrating and having a rest. Some time ago I read an official document of Catholic Church, namely Apostolic Letter "Dies Domini". There is some advice how we Catholics should perceive this special day, Sunday. I encourage my readers to read it, the link is here: https://w2.vatican.va/content/john-paul-ii/en/apost_letters/1998/documents/hf_jp-ii_apl_05071998_dies-domini.html On Sunday we should have a rest after six days of working. This is the will of God. And we should trust Our God, although we can choose our own life path. We can do all we want, but it is sometimes wrong. God gives to us only good things and one of these things is His law that we can accept and ob...

Why have I created this blog?

This is my first post on my new blog. I will write here about God, faith and spiritual life. I have been interested in personal development since 2010. For me, spiritual development is the most important of all spheres of personal development. In a sense, writing about God and spirituality is quite easy for me, because my own spiritual development has been lasting since my childhood. I am a Catholic and I have been living in Poland since my birth. I am grateful to God for all His graces that I have from Him. God gave me my life, my wife and so many things and experiences that formed me. All experiences in my life have great significance to me.  I strongly believe that we, people, are here in this world to give goodness to other people, to enjoy our lives and make a significant contribution to other people's lives.  Writing this blog will help me in realising my relationship with God, I will have a chance to look at my daily spiritual life. I know that I can change...
